Ray Charles did not have to say listen to me, but his music and voice made you get close to his music. His movement on the piano as he played and song with feelings just made one stand up and salute. And speaking of saluting, the song "America" allowed one to feel what he was singing. A person felt his voice of America in their heart and in their bones. It brought tears to ones eyes and chills to body. It made you feel that you were proud to be an american. It was an honor to type this because it is so true.
