Even with the current COVID-19 restrictions, there's still a way to check off that bucket list. As part of the Ray Charles 90th celebration, the Ray Charles Foundation President, Valerie Ervin, has decided to open the doors to the Ray Charles Memorial Library for the first time through a virtual tour.

Located on the first floor of the RPM International building, the Ray Charles Memorial library includes a combination of memorabilia and history providing a forum to educate visitors about the triumph of perseverance, vision and hope over challenge and adversity.

On the 2nd floor, you can tour Ray Charles’ office, sitting room, his personal wardrobe and the historic recording studio where numerous award-winning, world-renowned artists and albums have been recorded - from “Country & Western Meets Rhythm and Blues,” all the way to “Genius Loves Company,” Mr. Charles’ final recording.

To look around, click and drag your mouse to view the room in 360º or use the thumbnail images below. The tour can be viewed in full screen by clicking on the upper right corner of the window.

Exit full screen with the "esc” button.
